To truly understand this concept I must begin with a mainstream topic first, that is “The Law of Attraction”. As difficult as it may be to accept, all circumstances, all events, all of the results we have experienced in our lives today is the result of one thing….Our Thoughts!
Good, Bad and Indifferent, our present place in life has been the result of the Thoughts and Feelings we put out into the universe.
I’m not saying we consciously aim to hurt ourselves physically or emotionally! What I am stating is we SUBCOUNCIOUSLY do this at times. Let’s take this weekend for me; I fell down the stairs not once yesterday, but twice within 2 hours. My wife said in the 20 years we have been together she can not remember me ever falling down the stairs. So why did this happen to me TWICE within a 2 hour time frame?
This morning I did some reflecting on why this happened to me, was I clumsy, not paying attention to the steps, going to quickly, or just plain unlucky? The answer is simple from my perspective; I am trying to prevent something in my future from occurring. My subconscious feels I need to prevent something from happening based on habitual beliefs I planted over time.
So how do I deal with this? First I recognized that this happened for a reason, good or bad it happened! So here is where the topic comes in “How to see all Things in a Positive Light”. I believe my habitual failures to get back in shape over the past 15 years is why I fell.
Let me explain, every sight, sound, smell, event, even words I have spoken or statements I have heard in life are all recorded in our minds! All new experiences in life create a synapse in our mind that builds a Nero pathway for similar thoughts to travel. So if we continue to hear, either from others or ourselves that we will or will not succeed at a specific task, what do you think happens to that pathway? It gets bigger and stronger! It becomes your habitual belief on that subject.
So how do we break free of this belief and create what we truly what to accomplish? Simply create a bigger and stronger pathway on this topic, and this is accomplished through repetition of positive thoughts and feelings on this issue. You change the results you are presently receiving by inputting the polar opposite of what you have been inputting. The same action but with different feelings and thoughts.
Create new habits!!
So for me I am not going to see this fall as a setback, but as an opportunity for something new and exciting to enter my life. This opens a door for something new and positive, and I am so excited to see what it may be.
Take those so called negative results in life my friends and find a way to put a positive spin on the situation.
